We’re a 501 Non-Profit with a Simple Mission – A Quality Education for All
Established in 2011 by the Monson Family to honor the legacy of Curtis Albert Monson and to reflect his desire to ensure underserved youth receive a well-rounded education inside and outside of the classroom.
A Message From Our Founder
We hope that this note finds you and your families well this holiday season.
Today is #GivingTuesday, and CAM is proud to participate in this day where people around the globe come together to celebrate generosity and kindness and to support various communities and causes that are important to them.
Despite the challenges and uncertainties that the global pandemic has created for many, including underrepresented youth here in the Los Angeles area, we are proud of the many scholars we have continued to sponsor to achieve a quality education. Because of your generosity, we have sponsored dozens of students over the years and have raised over $100,000 for CAM Scholars and other organizations that support education.
To see the impact that your contributions have made on the lives of our scholars, we hope that you take the opportunity to watch this video of our scholars and board members discussing the work of our organization. And to those who may be new to the CAM community, we welcome you into an incredible community of people who are working to support our future generation of leaders so they can access a quality education and thrive on a level-playing field.
If you’re able, please consider donating to CAM on this #GivingTuesday. Whether it’s $1 or $10, any amount is helpful as we could not do this work and support our scholars without your unwavering commitment.
With gratitude,
Catrice Monson
